PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR "SCIENCE HAPPY CARDS" (aka your flashcards) to your science class.

Reminder:

As I mentioned in class, it is YOUR responsibility to build your flashcards based on your notes from class and textbook.

You have to copy whatever is on the black board ON YOUR COPY BOOK.
and you will make your flashcards based on what you think is important
1. You will see yellow-highlighted words on your textbook. you may write down these words or concepts on your flashcards.
2. You may also look at "new vocabulary" sections on your textbook (they are usually on left side of every new units)
3. I will also give one word in every class for your flashcards as well.

SCIENCE FAIR: PROPOSAL WILL BE GIVEN ON SEPTEMBER 21st.

YOUR MATH TESTS ARE ALL MARKED; WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU ON MONDAY (September 17)

YOUR MATH NOTES SHOULD INCLUDE:

2. Page numbers
3.Question numbers or letters

SCIENCE FAIR: PLEASE NOTIFY Ms.KIM if you still haven't decide whether you are working in a team of two or on your own. (YOU HAVE TO LET ME KNOW AT LEAST BEFORE September 19th)

FOR ALL CLASSES (Grades 7, 9, 10 and 11)

It is my goal to make the best learning environment for EVERYONE. 
With your parents (or guardians) and other staff at school, I am here to help you to succeed in math and science.I like to think that I am a pretty easy-going and open-minded person. 
The ONLY RULE I have for every class I teach is that EVERYONE SHOULD RESPECT EACH OTHER.
It means that there should not be any name callings, making fun of others, or interrupting others (including me) when they are talking.

It is terribly rude and makes the class long and difficult if I have to stop and ask everyone to be quiet all the time. 
If you do not want to listen, at least, you can BE QUIET, so you do not interrupt other people who are trying to learn. If you have questions or comments, PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND. 

From now on, I will NOT BE responding to any questions or comments unless you raise your hand.
I am strict, but I am not mean.
If you show respect to me and other classmates, and try hard to learn and share your ideas, I am sure that together, we will make a great learning environment for EVERYONE.
Alright? :) If you want to share any ideas to make our classes fun and respectful, please don't be shy and come talk to me.
